Andy Murray Defeat Yuki Bhambri Australian Open First-Round Match


Scottish tennis star Andy Murray great took start in Australian Open campaign as defeated his Indian rival Yuki Bhambri in Melbourne city.
Murray had seeded sixth, named 6-3 6-4 7-6 (7-3) in 2-hour 12 minutes on Margaret Court Arena, in the third set, was trying to better from 4-1 down. Now, on Wednesday Briton star will face to face with Australian rival Marinko Matosevic in the second round.
The 22-year-old Indian player Bhambri had never achieved highest ranking yet but he showed not bad piece of tennis as faced Murray.
Glasgow star expressed about the game against Bhambri like this, “I thought it was a good start. I thought he played well; he was very aggressive and he was right up on the baseline the whole match. That made it difficult because it didn’t give me much rhythm or a lot of time.”
He added, “But I thought I served very well the whole match – that was the most pleasing thing for me. Hopefully I’ll get a little bit better and a bit quicker after my serve and after my returns.”
The match was so important for 27-year-old Murray because the Dani Vallverdu and Jez Green had quitted end of last season and Amelie Mauresmo as coach joined him to teach good techniques as well Matt Little who working as fitness trainer.
Scottish young tennis star told, “It’s been six or seven months now. I’m hoping we’ll see some changes and some positive results.”
If recent performances are to be considered, so Murray recovering swiftly following his off-season, wherein he did hard work to make improve his speed work and expecting he will show good results in Australian Open.
